When we first all started boozing our brew of choice was Tennants Extra... loved it... we had a party to go to one week and popped in the offy to get some cans... they had no extra but the owner said he had Tennants Super and it was a lot better and tastier.... at the party I reckon the first can lasted me around 3 hours... I can still chew it now

My local off-licence stocks, amongst the shelves & shelves of FUCKING Polish lager, Orangeboom 7.5, which lies just within the upper quartile of the pickling scale.
However they sneak in the odd can of 8.5, which can make the difference between "a nice night" and "why the fuck am I sleeping in the gutter?"
A little like when drinking Chang in-country was a proper man's drinking experience. Until those cunts at Carlsberg muscled themselves back on stage.

I tried my first (and only) can of Tenants when I was seventeen.
A long time ago now but I remember waking up on the platform of Barking Station, face-down in the snow.
Wasn't that the beer with a picture of a different half-clothed girl on the side of the can?
It has just reminded me of something else along those lines- a bit of cardboard that held up packets of salted peanuts with a girl with her tits out (or maybe barely in) that got slowly revealed as people bought packets of nuts.

I have friends in southern Italy near Bari, where the Peroni brewery is. They think it's piss water. A night out in Bari or Trani will see the majority of people drinking bottles of Tenants Super.

I was always a super tenants man. 4 cans of super T and an eighth of puff was my Friday night out when I was 16. A little kip in the stairwell of some flats on the way home and job done

Just get a beer and pour a small whisky in same taste, I tried both Tennents and Special brew and thought they were disgusting.
